As our Alberta Journeyman/Foreman Electrician lead, you will plan, execute/install and service various EV charging station projects in Alberta. You will work on a wide array of EV charging station projects. Contract installations, Remote Programming. Maintenance. Service calls.

Your tasks will include:

  • Drafting/finalizing work schedules

  • Coordinating materials

  • Maintaining budgets

  • Supervising/installing electrical components

  • Co-ordinate installations with sub-trades

  • Training junior/apprentice electrical staff

  • Inspecting electric work and ensuring it is compliant with code

  • Monitoring hazards and ensuring safe working conditions

 

Succeeding in this role requires strong communication and planning skills. Whether you’re dealing with other electricians, sub-trades or home owners, you’ll need to excel at meeting deadlines.

 

Qualifications;

  • Red Seal 309A Required

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • 5+ years experience

  • Experience on residential and commercial sites

  • Experience coordinating schedules, progress and materials

  • WHMIS/Working at heights/safety certifications

  • Strong computer skills, and familiarity with/ability to learn industry standard software

  • Experience training/working with apprentices would be an asset

  • Driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a criminal record check

As our Alberta Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading strategy, sales, and engagement for customers located in the province of Alberta. The position will report directly to the CEO of WASP Industries Inc.. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying market opportunities, managing RFP and tenders and delivering revenue from this province. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the e-mobility initiatives throughout the region and informing company stakeholders. This position will carry a quota and be responsible achieving annual sales targets.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all sales efforts to end customers and assigned partners throughout the province.

  • Establish and nurture senior level relationships with key stakeholders in target vertical markets, including end customers, development or business partners, market influencers, and government regulators.

  • Identify opportunities that will result in growth and deliver value to the business, ideally applicable to multiple segments.

  • Identify business opportunities, drive, and manage RFI, RFQ and tender processes and negotiate, secure and close contracts.

  • Actively outreach, build, manage and grow a substantial pipeline of new opportunities.

  • Maintain updated and accurate account and opportunity information.

  • Develop cross functional collaboration with other Tritium team members, supporting one another and sharing expertise on new product offerings, quote review approvals, proposal preparation/submissions for new contract development.

  • Be the expert within WASP for all customers and prospects located throughout the province, staying up-to-date and knowledgeable on market trends and changes.

  • Attend select conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and develop new business relationships.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree. preferably in Electrical Engineering or having an Electrical or Electronic Certification is an asset.

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industrial sales role with a proven track record of exceeding quota, and growing sales.

  • Experience and/or working knowledge of EV technology/charging infrastructure is a plus.

  • Self -starter who requires limited day to day oversight.

  • Ability to develop high level, C-Suite relationships and conduct successful negotiations with customers.

  • Customer-facing experience that has delivered ongoing results.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the business potential.

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills both in person and virtual.

  • Exceptional team player who is a hard-working, high energy and high performing professional with core values of integrity, trust, accountability, and is self-motivated.

  • Willingness to travel to engage face-to-face with customers.
